Daffodil Day and Fathers Day Celebrations
What a great day we had raising the awareness of Cancer with our Yellow Mufti and Wacky Hair day as well as a day to thank our father figures in our lives that are always behind us 100%.
As a team the Aroha classes decided to do mini workshops which included a range of fun activities they could do with their special guests!
What a better day to enjoy the day than to run around in yellow with our guests!!!
Outside Miss Ngatuakana did relays which involved a lot of running, bouncing and counting.
After a great meal with some of our fathers we made a b-line to the hall to participate in our whole school assembly.
What a sight to see, a hall full of yellow children showing their support for Cancer. A few of us were recognised for our efforts in improving our reading skills and also practicing our Rowandale Pride. Congratulations to Nico and Sylvia!!!
If that wasn't enough we were spoilt to hear from the Tumanako team. They shared lovely stories and also prepared songs about their fathers and how important they were to them.
Thank you to the fathers who were able to make it too our shared lunch and our Friday where we could celebrate you!
